General servicing keeps your aircon running smoothly through basic checks, dusting, and filter washing. However, standard maintenance normally doesn't reach the microbial buildup and residue deep within the cooling coil. Cleanhale™ acts as a specialized hygiene treatment specifically designed to deep-clean the coil and bridge this hygiene gap.

A biofilm is a community of microorganisms attached to a surface and surrounded by a protective matrix. On a cooling coil, moisture and accumulated organic material can support microbial growth, allowing residue to build up between general services.

5. Can dust filters remove all bacteria, mould and other microorganisms?

No. Standard dust filters are designed to capture larger particles such as hair, lint, and bigger dust particles only. Microscopic bacteria, fungal spores, and organic flakes may pass through and settle on the cooling coil where they can accumulate and grow.

6. Does Cleanhale™ replace regular aircon servicing?

No. Cleanhale™ is an upgrade to general servicing, not a replacement. Your aircon still needs its normal general servicing, including filter cleaning, drainage checks, and mechanical inspections.

7. Does Cleanhale™ replace a chemical wash?

No. Cleanhale™ is intended for routine preventative hygiene. A full chemical wash is a heavy-duty restoration procedure for severe contamination, heavy fouling, or serious blockages that can’t be applied too often due to its invasive nature.

Cleanhale™ is positioned as a specialised cooling-coil treatment added to general servicing. The application is exclusively approved for our accredited Service Providers and their technicians who completed extensive training.

24. Can Cleanhale™ be used when my aircon is leaking water?

No, not as a solution to the leak itself. Water leaks usually require inspection of the drainage or mechanical system and the appropriate repair first. Cleanhale™ is not a leak repair treatment.

25. Can Cleanhale™ fix an aircon that is not cold?

No. An aircon that is not cooling properly requires diagnosis of the relevant refrigerant, mechanical, or electrical issue. Cleanhale™ should not be proposed as a substitute for that diagnostic work.
